Forum Rules

Registration to this forum is free to existing members of 2cvgb. (If you are not already a member of 2cgb you can join by going HERE). For security reasons you must input your Membership Number and your Postcode Exactly as it appears on your membership card, in capitals and with any spaces. Each time you login you will be required to input your User name, Password and Postcode.
(If your membership card doesn't show a Postcode you may use your membership number in its place)

We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. If you agree to the terms, please check the 'I agree' checkbox and press the 'Register' button below. If you would like to cancel the registration, click here to return to the forums index.

To ensure the 2cvgb Message Board remains a fun place to be we ask you to abide by the following guidelines:
• This Message Board is for current members of 2cvgb to share information and comments about anything and everything A Series, please try to keep posts within guidelines for each forum. Off topic personal replies to posts should be sent to the individual direct.You are welcome to engage in challenging and spirited debate with other users, but rudeness will not be tolerated. Name-calling, disrespecting other users or throwing personal insults against them will not be tolerated, either from an instigator -OR- from anyone who feels like they should respond to such instigation. Flaming another user because of their spelling or word choice will not be tolerated, either. Personal attacks of ANY kind are not allowed and users who violate this will have their access removed. If you have an issue with another user, contact a moderator or administrator.
• You will not use the Message Board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, obscene, abusive, threatening or an invasive of a person's privacy or in violation of the law. Such posts will be removed immediately.
• Please treat people with the same level of respect you'd like to receive yourself.
• Please don't name and shame individuals or companies with which you've had a bad experience. Any member persisting doing so will be reported to club committee and immediately removed from the forum. You have been warned.
• Messages should only be posted once. We ask that you don't post the same message on more than one board.
• To include a hyperlink to another website, you need to prefix your link with http:// Just using www. won't work.
• You can include an image with your message. Please keep your images A Series specific. Images should ideally be no bigger than 640x480 pixels. You can upload jpg and gifs. Inappropriate images will be removed and members doing so will reported to the committee.
• Please don't promote your own business.
• Please don't POST EVERYTHING IN UPPERCASE. It's annoying to read, and there's a caps lock key on your keyboard for a reason.

Respect For The Staff (Administrator and Moderators)
The 2cvgb website and community under the sole authority of its Administrator, and run with the aid of additional Moderators who act on the Administrator's authority. At all times members of this Forum will follow the instructions of moderators and the administrator. They are acting on behalf of 2cvgb; questioning their actions or motivations in public messages is not welcome. Instead, should you have an issue with the way a moderator is behaving or disagree with their judgment, you are asked to please contact the Administrator via email or private message to express your concerns, instead of taking matters into your own hands. This is because our staff is entirely volunteer, and deserves the freedom to be able to do their volunteer jobs. Also, while we grant our users the utmost discretion and freedom, there is no guaranteed right of free speech (or right toward anything else, for that matter) in this community, and we make no guarantees at all about its operation, its moderation or its policies; the Forum is operated solely at the leisure of the Forum administrators, in their free time, and no user is guaranteed the right to be here as a participant. We reserve the right to terminate any user's forum membership for any reason at any time.

Constant and willful pushing against the limits described herein - what some would call "almost breaking the rules" - will not be tolerated.
