Nikki Wright, 2CVGB ChairNikki joined 2CVGB in 1997 having got hooked on the cars after being taken out for a drive in a  friend's Charleston. ‘Nellie’, her 2CV, is a grey Belgian market Spécial, which Nikki made her own by adding pink wings and roof when she bought it and restored it in 1999. She has attended and organised many 2CV events in the UK and Europe, and organises 'green living' courses at the Derbyshire Eco Centre when not doing 2CV business.

Mark Dunn, Secretary'Bean' (Mark) first became a member of 2CVGB back in 1993 (for 2 years) after buying his first car a Beige Dyane 6 for £95 at the age of 17. In 2004 it all started again with the purchase of a 1983 Beachcomber, adding to this a couple of years later an 87 Grey/Grey Charleston and Bamboo. Bean has now taken the plunge into the van pool and bought a 1971 AKS400 in October 2012 which he imported from France.

Simon Mackett ('Old Goat') [Cambridge Legless Frogs]: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Simon Mackett, Membership SecretarySimon is a relative newcomer to 2CVGB having bought his first 2CV in 2008, a broken 1985, 140,000-mile Charleston. The help received from other club members in getting ‘Old Goat’ (the car) back on the road, made him realise that this was a club worth getting involved with. So he did. Formerly a London bus driver, Simon has now retired and is the Club’s Membership Secretary.

Press & Public Relations Officer

Julian Kettleborough [Godiva Two Horse Riding School]: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Julian Kettleborough, Press OfficerJulian is enthusiastic about (almost) everything, especially if it runs on two cylinders or tastes of chocolate. His passion for 2CVs started at the age of 6 and he’s been a member of 2CVGB since ’88. His travels have included numerous UK and overseas events, mostly in the Beachcomber he’s now owned for 23 years! He is responsible for all 2CVGB's PR and publicity.

Magazine Editor

Sam Fieldhouse: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Samuel Fieldhouse, EditorSam joined 2CVGB in 2007, a year after the purchase of his first 2CV, a 1988 green and white Dolly which today is his everyday car. His family have had 2CVs for many years, but moved away from cars to boats about the time he was born. The early photographs of various 2CV6s, a  Méhari and a van parked at home inspired him and he now has his own 2CV6, Méhari and van... When not 2CVing around the UK and across europe, he competes in blues and modern jive competitions and plays clarinet and saxophone. In his 'free' time he works as a Museum Learning Officer.

olly Olly has only been a member of the club for 3 years. He has had a passion for most things old and rusty all his life, but his Beachcomber, Barney, takes pride of place. He has travelled to many 2cv events in the past 3 years including 2 World Meetings and two overseas national events.

She has also run several local groups over the years.

Registrar of Registers

Matthew Concannon ('Ami Matt') [Hertfordshire Hill Hoppers]: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Matthew Concannon, Registrar of RegistersMatt has owned Citroën A series cars since 1992, learning to drive in a wreck of a '76 2CV, before discovering the Ami 8 by accident in 1997 after being run over by one at a camp. Seeing this as the future (due to concussion, probably) he has kept an Ami 8 on fleet since then, taking over the Ami Register in 1998. Matt has stayed true to the Ami even after being distracted by 2CVs, Dyanes, Ami Supers, Trabants, Wartburgs, mopeds, GS, CX, BX, and the mighty DS. Reduced to poverty after DS ownership, Matt  now drives a Citroën LNA as a penance, and represents the Registers on the committee in the role of Registrar of Registers. In this role he assists with dating and authentication for Club members' cars, and represents the Club to bodies such as SPOG, the DVLA and FBHVC.

Robert Hellawell [Aire Cooled Alley Cats]: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Robert Hellawell, Club ShopRob joined 2CVGB in 1990 after the purchase of his first car – a very shiny 1982 Rouge de Castille 2CV6 Spécial. He says that he wished he’d joined the club beforehand as the first job that he had to do on this car was to replace the chassis! This was achieved with considerable help from members of his local group, The Aire Cooled Alley Cats, and he’s not looked back since. Robert is married to Dalvinder; they have both been involved with the Club Shop since 2007.

Parts & Equipment

Ian Wilson ('Wiltz') [Derbyshire Firkin Flyers]: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Ian Wilson, Parts and EquipmentMaurice Dilley, EditorIan says: Hi i'm Ian "Wiltz" Wilson, your new committee man for parts and equipment. I was accepted at this years AGM to take up the baton from the legend that is Mr Mark Dunmore. Some of you may remember me from this years Registers day, trying to sell you the clubs crown jewels from the back of a van, the main aim of which was to create some space at the Russkington unit, also encouraging a turnover of parts. I will also be exploring alternatives in the logistics of delivering equipment to the various shows and events.

Health and Safety (Also Child Protection advisor)

Richard Cooper ('Coops'): This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Richard Cooper, Non-DesCoops joined 2CVGB in 1991 (he thinks) after purchasing a rather decrepit Myosotis (sp?) blue 2CV6 from a college chum. Strangely, he went to a World Meeting before his first club event after re-building the 2CV. Having owned many 2CVs, a couple of Dyanes, a couple of (non-running) AK400s and a rather lovely AZU, he is usually now seen cursing loudly at his H-van, waving the starting handle and threatening to put it on eBay if it doesn't start this time... All this will change, hopefully, when he has found enough fastenings to rebuild his wife's Méhari. After years lounging about at Club events he volunteered to join the committee to give something back to the Club. Hopefully, he will eventually pull his finger out and deliver on all the actions he routinely forgets to complete!

After 5 years in the club i've had countless adventures and fun, so i hope to bring some fresh ideas and young blood to the 2cvGB committee.

Colin Sherriff, Members' HandbookColin came into the 2CV world by default, really. After rebuilding his daughter's first car, she bought him membership of the Club as a Christmas present.
